We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
