Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation by the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
