Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Indeed this Qur’an narrates to the Descendants of Israel most of the matters in which they differ. 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ When the word about them comes true We shall make a creature appear to them on earth who will tell them that people had no faith in Our revelations. 82

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
