Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
