Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set constellations in the heavens and made them pleasing to the beholders, 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
