Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you are turning away. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
