And on the day when the enemies of Allah are herded towards the fire, the earlier groups will be restrained till the latter join them. 19 and when all have arrived, their ears, their eyes, and their skins shall bear witness against them, stating all that they had done in the life of the world. 20 And they shall say to their skins: Why have you borne witness against us? They shall say: Allah Who makes everything speak has made us speak, and He created you at first, and to Him you shall be brought back. 21 Not so did you cover yourselves, that your hearing, your eyes and your skins should not bear witness against you; but you thought that God would never know much of the things that you were working. 22 It is this notion you had of your Lord that caused your ruin, and you are lost." 23 Then if they persist, the Fire shall be a lodging for them; and if they ask amends yet no amends shall be made to them. 24 ۞ We have assigned companions to them, who make what is before them and behind them seem fair to them. The statement has been realized against them in nations of people and jinn alike that passed away before them they were indeed the losers. 25
