And certainly We have repeated (warnings) in this Quran that they may be mindful, but it does not add save to their aversion. 41 Say: If there were with Him gods as they say, then certainly they would have been able to seek a way to the Lord of power. 42 Purity and Supremacy are to Him from what they utter, a Great Supremacy! 43 The seven heavens, the earth, and whosoever in them, exalt Him. There is nothing that does not exalt with His praise, but you do not understand their exaltation. Surely, He is Clement, Forgiving. 44 And when thou recitest the Qur'an we place between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter a hidden barrier; 45 And We have put coverings over their hearts lest, they should understand it (the Quran), and in their ears deafness. And when you make mention of your Lord Alone [La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) Islamic Monotheism] in the Quran, they turn on their backs, fleeing in extreme dislikeness. 46 We know best of what they listen to, when they listen to you. And when they take secret counsel, behold, the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.) say: "You follow none but a bewitched man." 47 See, what comparisons they coin for you, and go astray, and thus cannot find the way. 48 And they say: When we are bones and fragments, shall we forsooth, be raised up as a new creation? 49 Tell them: "(Even if) you turn to stones or steel, 50 ۞ or some creation yet more monstrous in your minds!' Then they will say, 'Who will bring us back?' Say: 'He who originated you the first time.' Then they will shake their heads at thee, and they will say, 'When will it be?' Say: 'It is possible that it may be nigh, 51 "On the day when He will call you, and you will answer with His praises and imagine you did not tarry but a while." 52
