۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
