The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven, and by oath of the nightly arriver. 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 (It is a nightly radiant star). 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he was created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 on the Day when all secrets will be laid bare, 9 He shall have neither strength nor helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 and by the earth bursting with vegetation; 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 And no trifle. 14 They are hatching up a plot, 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 so bear with those who deny the truth, and let them be for a little while. 17
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
