۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 and detain them there; they will be called to account. 24 What aileth you that ye help not one another? 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah; 35 And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet?" 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 And ye shall be required not except for that which ye have been doing; 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 In Gardens of peace. 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 white, sparkling (wine), a delight to the drinkers. 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? 52 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment? 53 [And] he adds: "Would you like to look [and see him]?" 54 Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire. 55 He shall say: By Allah! you had almost caused me to perish; 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 Are we then not to die 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this better or the tree of Zaqqum 62 We have indeed made that a punishment for the unjust. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 Its emerging fruit as if it was heads of the devils. 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they (too) made haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
