The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what will explain to thee That which Breaks to Pieces? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 In columns outstretched. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
