And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 Moses asked his young companion when they crossed this point, "Bring us our food; the journey has made us tired." 62 He said:"Do you remember when we betook ourselves to the rock? I indeed forgot the fish, none but Shaitan (Satan) made me forget to remember it. It took its course into the sea in a strange (way)!" 63 Moses said: "But that is exactly what we were seeking." So they retraced their steps. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses said unto him: "May I follow thee on the understanding that thou wilt impart to me something of that consciousness of what is right which has been imparted to thee?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 Replied [Moses]: "Thou wilt find me patient, if God so wills; and I shall not disobey thee in anything!" 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
