The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your God is One. 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 What, and our fathers, the ancients?' 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
