ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 those who reject the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers shall soon know -- 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 into boiling water, then, into the Fire they shall be poured. 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 'That is because you rejoiced in the earth without right, and were exultant. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 Therefore be patient (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), undoubtedly Allah’s promise is true; and whether We show some of what We promise them, or cause you to pass away before it – in any case they will return to Us. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
