Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 and never encourages the feeding of the destitute. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 Yet refuse small kindnesses! 7
