In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
QAF. I CALL to witness the glorious Qur'an. 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 And tall date-palms with their spathes pile on pile 10 as a provision for human beings; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life. Such shall be the Resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 and Ad, and Pharaoh, and Lot's brethren, 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
