Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 The Lord will say, "Do not argue in My presence; I had certainly sent you a warning. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
