And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
