The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
