[But,] verily for the God-conscious there is supreme fulfilment in store: 31 theirs shall be gardens and vineyards, 32 And maidens of a single age. 33 And flasks full and flowing. 34 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, nor any falsehood; 35 Recompense from thy Lord, a gift, (amply) sufficient, 36 Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that between them is, the All-merciful of whom they have no power to speak. 37 On the Day when the Spirit and the angels stand in ranks, no one will speak, except for those to whom the Lord of Mercy gives permission, and who will say only what is right. 38 That will be the Day of Ultimate Truth: whoever wills, then, let him take the path that leads towards his Sustainer! 39 We have warned you of a chastisement which is near at hand, on the Day when man shall [clearly] see what his hands have sent ahead, and when he who has denied the truth shall say, "Oh, would that I were dust!" 40
