The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 save what God wills; surely He knows what is spoken aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
