The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 But the (Awful) Cry overtook them at the morning hour, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Your Lord is indeed the Creator of all, the All-Knowing. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 (Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),- 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 By thy Lord, We will question them all. 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Then declare what you are commanded and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 who set up another god with God, but they shall soon learn. 96 And assuredly We know that thou straitenest thy breast by that which they say. 97 Therefore celebrate the praise of your Lord, and be of those who make obeisance. 98 And serve thy Lord until there come unto thee the Hour that is Certain. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
