And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 Then surely it is We who are the Best Knower of these worthiest of being therein roasted. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 And once again: We shall save [from hell] those who have been conscious of Us; but We shall leave in it the evildoers, on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance? 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
