The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 Indeed, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
