We created man -- We know the promptings of his soul, and are closer to him than his jugular vein -- 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth.
