Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We have spread out the earth, and set upon it firm mountains and caused everything to grow in due proportion. 19 We have provided therein a means of livelihood for you and for all those creatures for whom you do not provide. 20 Of all things there are We have the stores, and send them down in determined measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
