Highly blessed is He, Who has made fortified spheres in the heavens and has set in it a "lamp" and a shining moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing. 64 And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily! Its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment." 65 it is an evil abode and an evil resting place": 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 save him who repents, and believes, and does righteous work -- those, God will change their evil deeds into good deeds, for God is ever All-forgiving, All-compassionate; 70 And whoever repents and does good, he surely turns to Allah a (goodly) turning. 71 And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity; 72 And those who, when they are admonished by the commands of Allah, fall not down thereat, deaf and blind. 73 and who pray "O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!" 74 These shall be rewarded with high places because they were patient, and shall be met therein with greetings and salutations. 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 O Muhammad, tell the people, "MyLord does not care at all if you do not invoke Him. Now that you have denied (His Revelation), you will soon be awarded such a punishment which you will never be able to avoid." 77
