And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night. Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
