Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a Warner from among themselves. So the Unbelievers say: "This is a wonderful thing! 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We sent down out of heaven water blessed, and caused to grow thereby gardens and grain of harvest 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 As sustenance for the bondmen; and with it We revived a dead city; this is how you will be raised. 11 Denied before them (i.e. these pagans of Makkah who denied you, O Muhammad SAW) the people of Nuh (Noah), and the dwellers of Rass, and the Thamud, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
