۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 And roasting in a Blaze. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
