Noah said, "Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose wealth and children will only bring about destruction for them. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 They said: “Do not abandon your deities; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa, nor Yaghuth, nor Yauq, nor Nasr. 23 And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error." 24 Because of their wrongs they were drowned, then made to enter fire, so they did not find any helpers besides Allah. 25 Noah prayed, "O my Lord! Do not leave on earth a single one of those who deny the truth -- 26 For surely if Thou leave them they will lead astray Thy servants, and will not beget any but immoral, ungrateful (children) 27 "O my Lord! Forgive me, my parents, all who enter my house in Faith, and (all) believing men and believing women: and to the wrong-doers grant Thou no increase but in perdition!" 28
