Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day when We shall assemble the righteous towards the Most Gracious, as guests. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
