Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
