So I swear by whatsoever you see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 And lo! We know that some among you will deny (it). 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
