The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 And when the stars fall, 2 and when the mountains are made to vanish, 3 And when the camels are left untended, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 when the souls are divided into different classes, 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 when the records of men's deeds are laid open, 10 when heaven is stripped, 11 And when the hell is kindled up, 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 I swear by the receding stars, 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 And the Night as it dissipates; 17 and brightening morning, 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 He had surely seen Him on the clear horizon. 23 Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 But you cannot will it unless God, the Sustainer of all the worlds, wills [to show you that way]. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
