The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

WOE TO EVERY slanderer, back-biter, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 And what will make you know what the crushing Fire is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 roaring over the hearts 7 closed around them 8 In pillars stretched forth. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
