Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book of wisdom. 2 a guide and a mercy for those who do good, 3 Those who establish worship and pay the poor-due and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these! they are the blissful ones. 5 And some people buy words of play, in order to mislead from Allah’s path, without knowledge; and to make it an article of mockery; for them is a disgraceful punishment. 6 When Our Signs are rehearsed to such a one, he turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them not, as if there were deafness in both his ears: announce to him a grievous Penalty. 7 The righteously striving believers will enter Paradise 8 They shall abide in them forever. This is Allah's promise that shall come true. He is the Most Powerful, the Most Wise. 9 He has created the skies without any support that you could see, and has placed firm mountains upon the earth, lest it sway with you, and has caused all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon. And We sent down water from the skies, and thus We made every kind of excellent plant grow there: 10 this is God's creation. Show me then what those besides Him have created! The wrongdoers are in manifest error. 11
