And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct [i.e. guide you to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism with which Musa (Moses) has been sent]. 38 "O my people! Truly, this life of the world is nothing but a (quick passing) enjoyment, and verily, the Hereafter that is the home that will remain forever." 39 Whosoever worketh an evil, he shall not be requited except the like thereof; and whosoever, male or female, worketh righteously, and is a believer - they will enter the Garden wherein they will be provided for without measure. 40 ۞ "And O my people, how is it that I summon you to salvation, the while you summon me to the fire? 41 Ye call me for this, that I should blaspheme against God and associate with Him that whereof I have no knowledge, and I call you onto the Mighty, the Forgiver. 42 Assuredly, that to which you invite me has no [response to a] supplication in this world or in the Hereafter; and indeed, our return is to Allah, and indeed, the transgressors will be companions of the Fire. 43 And anon ye shall remember that which I am telling you. And I confide my affair unto God; verily God is the Beholder of His bondmen. 44 God protected him against their evil plans and the people of the Pharaoh were struck by the most horrible torment. 45 The Fire, they are exposed to it morning and evening. And the Day the Hour appears [it will be said], "Make the people of Pharaoh enter the severest punishment." 46 And when they shall contend one with another in the fire, then the weak shall say to those who were proud: Surely we were your followers; will you then avert from us a portion of the fire? 47 [to which] they who had [once] been arrogant will reply, "Behold, we are all in it [together]! Verily, God has judged between His creatures!" 48 The dwellers of hell fire will ask its keepers, "Pray to your Lord to relieve us from the torment at least for one day". 49 They shall say, 'Did not your Messengers bring you the clear signs?' They shall say, 'Yes indeed.' They shall say, 'Then do you call!' But the calling of the unbelievers is only in error. 50
