Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the bright forenoon, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee wandering and direct (thee)? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
