Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
