Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 Surely We purified them by a pure quality, the keeping in mind of the (final) abode. 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This (for the virtuous); but for the transgressors the evil destination, 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 and other sufferings of the kind. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire." 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
