AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
