Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 excusing or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 for an appointed time? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
