The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
