Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And removed from thee thy burden 2 that had weighed so heavily on thy back? 3 And exalted your fame? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 surely, with every hardship there is ease. 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
