Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 It is he who pushes the orphan away, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
