(Remember) the day when We will call every people with their Imam; then whoever is given his book in his right hand, these shall read their book; and they shall not be dealt with a whit unjustly. 71 Those who are blind in this life will also be blind in the life to come and in terrible error. 72 Verily, they were about to tempt you away from that which We have revealed (the Quran) unto you (O Muhammad SAW), to fabricate something other than it against Us, and then they would certainly have taken you a friend! 73 And were it not that We had confirmed thee, thou hadst well-nigh leaned toward them a little. 74 Then [if you had], We would have made you taste double [punishment in] life and double [after] death. Then you would not find for yourself against Us a helper. 75 Indeed they came near to unsettling you, so that they might expel you from the land, but in that case they themselves would not have stayed on for very long after you. 76 (This is Our) course with regard to those of Our apostles whom We sent before you, and you shall not find a change in Our course. 77
