Al-Naml 6 of 7
And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 But do not grieve over them, and neither be distressed by the false arguments which they devise [against Gods messages]. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say thou: belike close behind you may be some of that which ye would hasten on. 72 Lo! thy Lord is full of bounty for mankind, but most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Verily this Qur'an doth explain to the Children of Israel most of the matters in which they disagree. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Indeed your Lord will decide between them by His judgement. He is All-Mighty, All-Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
