Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Surely, it is We who revive the dead and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; We have counted everything in a Clear Book. 12
